“The most important thing that I do is to have a little time to do something in Korean every day.”
Depending on the time I have, sometime it's half an hour, sometimes a full hour or more. Other times just a few minutes to recap some new words or play on Patchim Training app or watch something on Instagram. All my Instagram gives me back something in Korean. Every effort is good.
I'm not in a hurry, but it's important to be constant. GOOD JOB KOREAN is my course, but I sometimes use TTMIK. When I have a GJK lesson, I revise it a few times later, re-watching the lesson and searching for the same lesson in TTMIK. I write sentences on PAPAGO to check if I can write something with the right sentence structure.
I listen to Spixykorean on Instagram too. There are 2 or 3 lessons per week at 2 pm Italy time (8 pm in Korea). I sometimes can listen to them immediately, sometimes I watch them later. I didn't subscribe to anything and I can't interact, but it's useful too. I listen and review what I already know, and note the new things.
I use and write something on Good Job Korean Discord, I watch K-dramas and Korean TV shows. What I should need the most is listening practice (I would like to have more things or sentences to listen to train my listening skill and memory), and I should speak more, but I barely do it because I feel so unable to express myself. However, step by step I can do it.

“The most effective way to study Korean is to find a method that suits you.”
It’s important to remain consistent and ensure that your efforts align with the goals.
- Build your vocabulary.
Vocabulary is the basis of all languages. Usually, I will write 10 words or verbs in 1 day so that I can memorize them.
- Learn online
Online learning is ideal if you want to fit your learning around work or school schedules so that you can study anywhere and anytime. My Korean online course is GoodJobKorean and I do some extra exercises through the app which is TEUIDA (virtual conversation app)
- λλ£¨μ± λ°© (reading practice)
- TTMIK
- Papago (Translator that is more accurate than Google’s in terms of Korean-English)
- Sejong Korean Vocab - Basic
- Learn through Music
Repetition through song lyrics is a great way to memorize vocabulary and phrases. Along with practicing the vocabulary, I also practice writing by sending my writing to κΉμ©μ€μ λΌλΌλΌλμ€ which is a radio program about Korean Music.
